My favorite news story - EVER
Associated Press ran this story on April 7th, 2004. Most of the instances have been taken down by now, but I was able to find a local news site from Pittsburgh that still carried it. "Easter Bunny whipped at church show" is the title and no, this is not an Onion story. I'm thinking the creative director was on LSD or something when he came up with the idea. Or maybe he was just moved by the spirit of the Easter bunny.

sounds like something outa the simpsons. damn, they went about that all wrong. now kids will identify the easter bunny with good ol JC even more. they should have had the easter bunny running around terrorizing people and whipping little old ladies or something, that would strike the fear of [easter bunny] into those little heathens!

That's a brilliant question!! :)))
My personal preference would certainly be for Mr. Tarantino, although judging from the setting as well as the result I would think Mel would've done a marvelous job! ;)

I'd go with Tarantino as well. No reason, just instinct.
I was most upset reading how the easter eggs for the hunt were broken during the performance... the kids didn't even have anything to do after the show. And what's this comment about "The show isn't just for the kids"... didn't seem like it should be for "the kids" in the first place. They don't understand this stuff...
