Let it go already...
I cannot believe the Schiavo case is still being thrown around. Now Gov. Jeb Bush wants her husband investigated to see whether he waited too long to call 911. What?! For crying out loud let it go so everyone can get on with their lives.

I put off reading the linked article because I knew it would just make me angry. It would have been much more appropriate to conduct an investigation shortly after whatever-it-was-that-happened, happened. Not wait 15 years, through years of fighting to keep a comatose woman technically alive, and then after she has died, decide to conduct an investigation into the nature of her vegetative state. Most likely, any evidence to the contrary of what the husband says happened will have long since disappeared or be impossible to interpret or use. Regardless of your position on this issue, it should be pretty obvious that making the attempt now is a useless gesture meant to pander to the pro-life/anti-euthanasia community rather than a genuine attempt to get to the bottom of a mystery. The timing is important, here. Investigate the matter in a timely manner, or don't do it at all, and let the matter rest.
