Buyer beware indeed
Never considered myself naive when it comes to the Internet, but I certainly had no idea - certain online stores change their prices depending on who is buying! WOW! That just seems plain wrong. Give me a discount card or rewards points, but don't unknowingly change your price on me just because I visit or buy from your site (or others) [in]frequently.

Good to know... now I know why when I buy airline tickets, sometimes Northwest's site is cheaper than Cheaptickets or Orbitz. huh. And why I can't seem to find books at Amazon any cheaper than Barnes N Noble (which everyone else tells me they're cheaper at Amazon).

If it's 5 bucks cheaper than it's the booking fee. If it's more than that - who knows?! :-)
Yeah, the real test would be to get some prices from sites we regularly shop at and then clear our cookies and check again. Considering that the only possible outcomes are disapointment or outrage I can find better ways to spend my time. ;-)
Still, it is good to know.
