Morning-after pill to go over the counter?
Who would've thunk it - your politicians do represent you! The morning-after pill has been stuck in FDA bureaucratic limbo for years now and it seems the only reason it might get approved as a non-prescription drug is because two Democratic senators (Murray and Clinton) are holding up the confirmation of the next FDA chief until a decision is made!

If it prevents the fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus, it's not really abortion, since the egg hasn't developed yet. I could support this... (I disapprove of abortion, but not enough to get it outlawed)

haha one of those is my senator, i did some work for her. I'm happy about it. But at the same time a little scared it can be used too much. But at least you have to be 18 to get it. not like that makes a whole lot of difference.
