I wonder if I would have just taken the ticket and donated it all straight to charity--just in case the original owner was a dirty miser or wanted to give it all the the National Liberty Journal ;-)

i'm willing to bet the army gives him at least one, probably two awards for that, and that it'll be a bullet point on his eval for advancement to the next paygrade since it made the papers and the army's sucking for recruitment...
