yeah, i do need a job. all this free time is a bit overwhelming. a little moderation wouldn't hurt.
so, here's my plan. i need to find a job, regroup while i suffer under the boot of the corporate oppressor and then stage a daring escape. wash, rinse and repeat.
and then a miracle occurs... and i am released from the cycle. like a wild salmon that was caught and spent the most unpleasant day walloping in a bucket only to be suddenly released back again into the wild at the end of the day.
maybe god is a fisherman. he catches a soul, traps it into a body and sends it down to earth for a little while.

Um...when the salmon escapes the fisherman, it just goes back into it's own (admittedly more comfortable) salmon cycle. Of all the animals to pick for your freedom metaphor, you picked the one most driven by instinct! ;-)
How about the bear that does circus tricks for a while, only to break free and return to the wild to eat salmon ;-)
